my kids loved the getto circus! it was kinda cheese ball and a bit dirty but they didnt notice. their favorite was the dirt bikes in the cage ball. 5 bikes in one ball! i was actually kind of scared. everything else i thought was lamo!
we went with the chan family and we brought our neighbor jocelyn. shes a few years older than allister.

every year the day after thanksgiving we head up to Wrightwood. the whole village gathers to see the lighting of the tree. we walk around and every store offers hot apple cider. there is a cute ornament shop like no other and a great candy shop next to that. in the middle court yard, families line up to meet with the Claus'. this year was BITTER cold!

santa asks allister what he'd like for Christmas.
"I want a Ben 10 Watch, a new DS Ben 10 game, and an ipod!"

cross country practice, Storm (allisters team) encourages the parents to run with the kids. i love to but its almost worst when i do b/c allister starts complaining soooo much. jeremy and boys are going on the matterhorn for the 2nd time. love jeremys face! haha! he hates crowds.

this picture shows jeremy 2 favorite things here, the monorail and the submarines. he is all about tomarrowland. if you want any disneyland update, call my husband. can can pratically give tours.

the wesley sized door is always too adorable. i remember being his age and getting fustrated that i couldnt open it.

oliver and wesley were knocking on every door of the castle b/c they thought mickey mouse lived inside.

we finally get to mickeys house in toon town and they were pretty stoked; and they all amazingly stood and took a decent picture all together.

then we walked outside and saw minnie! oliver was in love!

later i was watching wesley so he wasnt rearranging the decor and....

i find oliver climbing a post! totally normal in the davis household!

we see another character (forgot her name but we always call her woodys girlfriend) and oliver goes bizzerk and grabs her tightly BY THE LEG! he is so into those characters. it makes standing in line and putting up with crazy people at the park all worth it.

the beginning of summer we went to palm springs. it had been so hot there but the couple of days we go down there, it was actually cold. all the locals were happy. jeremy told me that when he was younger, he went on the aerial tramway to Mt. San Jacinto. so we decided to take the boys up there for something to do. it was alot of fun. there was some snow and it was really really cold.

the tramway cars have been replaced several times, here is one of the vinatage cars jeremy went on. they are 80 passenger cars that make a 2 1/2 mile trip up to the mt. station elevation of 8,516 feet.

going up is really steep. this construction cost $8,000,000.00 and 2 years to build. the first tram ride cost $1000.00.

some friends (jessica and bonnie) and i took our kids to the Paint Pony Farm in Ojai, CA. it was so much fun. they milked a goat, made yummy ice cream from the milk, played on the farm with all the goats and other animals.

these are some different trails near our home, they are so rad, they have amazing views, small paths at times with really good smelling flowers along the way. im so lucky!

nana and the boys, they all wanted to wear hats. it was so windy on the top of the mtn, they were blowing off.

wally is our most favorite neighbor in the world. he is our sweet "mr. wilson" to our boys "dennis the menice" everyday when we go outside, allister or oliver will constantly say, "hey wally, ......", "hey wally, check this out...." im constantly, "allister give wally a break, oliver, wally is busy!" but he is so patient and kind and listens to all their ramblings. he used to be a physics teacher, he is so smart and knows so much, we will pretty much have physic class outside of his garage, the boys and i love it.

here, wally took us on a hike to show the boys and i a rad trial in the hills near our house where other boys built forts/etc.

Pasadena art show with Jini

my friend Jini invited me to an art show in pasadena where she was displaying some of her paintings. She is sooooooo amazing, i am her biggest fan. So were other people there. So many people there kepted coming up to her and complimenting her work. So I took Allister, Oliver and Wesley down to go check it out. Allister loved checking out all the artists work. Oliver slepted most the day and Wesley just wanted to take off running!

so i am painting a mural for my christine's daughter, bethany. typical castle theme is what christine wants. i will post the progress here. ive done more than this but here is one pic for now. this is some of the sky, obviously.

30th anniversary

i threw my mom and dad a party for their 30th anniversary. all their close friends and close family members came to woodranch to surprise them, they werent surprised b/c my lovely sister told my parents weeks before. i also made myself get up in front of everyone to read a poem that i wrote for them. that was not easy for me b/c i think im shy at times but i knew they would just love it.

this was the one day we got to go shredd, we did get this pic from jeremy's phone, did not turn out so good but im glad we captured this fun day. we went to mtn high. not my favorite place but it was close and i dont want to be too far from the kids, esp little wesley aka meaty meatster.

allister, oliver, wesley and i went to ventura harbor to see the big waves that came in december 07. there were so many other people there too with their binoculars and cameras. we drove from redondo beach up to c-street, ventura, early in the morning.

the boys and i. wesley was heavy, that was the last time i used the bjorn b/c he is more than half my size!!!

and finally a pic of a wave. doesnt seem big but it really was a good size. waves were up to 35 feet that morning. we only saw up to 20-25 feet.

This passage is just what i needed today and felt like sharing it. God always provides me the right stuff from His Word when I read the Bible. The Bible is truly the "Living" Word of God.

Psalms 30

I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up,
